Role description
Position: Data Scientist III
Type: Full-time
Compensation: $70-$95/hour
Location: Menlo Park, CA, USA (Onsite)

Role Responsibilities
β’ Conduct rigorous analysis of large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights across products, platforms, partners, and user interactions.
β’ Design, implement, and maintain critical metrics to measure ecosystem health, growth, and engagement.
β’ Develop and execute structured experiments to evaluate new product features, ecosystem strategies, and partnerships.
β’ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product and Engineering to define analytical requirements and inform strategic decision-making.
β’ Build sophisticated dashboards and detailed reports to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
β’ Perform ad hoc analyses to support urgent business and strategic inquiries with high-quality, timely insights.
β’ Apply advanced statistical modeling and analytical techniques to solve complex business problems.
β’ Support strategic initiatives by translating data into clear, actionable recommendations.
Requirements
β’ Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a closely related quantitative field.
β’ Strong professional experience in data science, analytics, or a comparable role.
β’ Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or R.
β’ Hands-on experience with data visualization tools including Tableau, Unidash, or Metrics360.
β’ Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present complex findings to diverse stakeholders.
β’ Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
β’ Experience working with large-scale datasets in technology or platform ecosystems preferred.
β’ Familiarity with internal data tools such as Presto, Scuba, or Hive preferred.
β’ Experience with experimentation design and causal inference methodologies preferred.
