What makes this one different: it's not a model-builder role. The client needs someone who can deploy to production AND present to VP-level stakeholders well enough to drive adoption of data science products. They've already screened multiple candidates and passed on all of them for soft skills and weak business impact storytelling. Qualification · Production ML deployment — models live, in use by real end users (not prototypes) · Supply chain domain — demand forecasting, logistics, or optimization; automotive a plus · Azure stack — Azure ML, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure AI Foundry · Executive communication — must be credible presenting to non-technical VPs and driving adoption The bar for soft skills is high. If your candidate can't speak to quantifiable business impact in dollar terms and isn't comfortable in a room with senior leadership, they will not survive the interview.
