Senior Data Scientist

Senior Data Scientist (Contract) – Remote We’re partnering with a large technology client looking to bring on an experienced Data Scientist to support applied analytics and machine learning initiatives across a mature cloud data platform. You’ll join an established delivery team as a senior individual contributor, working hands-on across model development, experimentation, and production deployment, with visibility across multiple business domains. This role is ideal for someone practical and commercially minded who enjoys taking models from concept through to production and delivering measurable business impact. The Role: • Build predictive and statistical models to solve real business problems • Work with large structured and semi-structured datasets • Collaborate with data engineering teams to productionize models • Design experiments and evaluate model performance • Translate business challenges into analytical solutions • Support model monitoring and ongoing performance improvements Experience Required • Proven experience working as a Data Scientist in production environments • Strong Python and SQL skills • Experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, or PyTorch • Solid statistics and modeling fundamentals • Comfortable working with messy, real-world datasets • Experience working within agile, delivery-focused teams Nice to Have • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Exposure to feature engineering and model deployment • Experience supporting product, growth, or experimentation teams • Familiarity with MLOps practices Interviews taking place immediately! Initial 6-month contract with strong likelihood of extension Engagement via W2 or personal LLC only (no third parties)
