Senior Data Scientist – Geospatial 📍 Juno Beach, FL (100% Onsite) Our client is seeking a Senior Data Scientist – Geospatial to serve as a technical leader responsible for designing and delivering advanced analytical and modeling solutions using geospatial data. This role combines deep expertise in data science, GIS technologies, and enterprise-scale application development to drive business insights and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design and development of advanced geospatial analytics and modeling solutions. • Develop scalable GIS tools, analytical applications, spatial data products, and reusable geoprocessing capabilities. • Architect enterprise geospatial solutions and establish development standards and best practices. • Design and oversee spatial data pipelines, APIs, automation workflows, and cloud-based integrations. • Collaborate with GIS teams, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate geospatial data into actionable insights. • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level data scientists. • Integrate GIS capabilities with enterprise data platforms, cloud environments, and AI services. • Develop production-grade analytical tools and applications that deliver measurable business impact. Required Qualifications • Master's degree or higher in Data Science, GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field. • 6+ years of experience in Data Science. • 4+ years of recent experience applying Data Science within GIS or Geospatial Analytics environments. • Strong expertise in Python and spatial analytics. • Experience building scalable analytical solutions and enterprise-level applications. • Proven experience designing and deploying production-grade data science solutions. • Experience with cloud platforms and enterprise data ecosystems. Preferred Qualifications • Extensive experience with Esri technologies: • ArcGIS Pro • ArcGIS Enterprise • ArcGIS Online • ArcPy • ArcGIS API for Python • ArcGIS REST APIs • ArcGIS Maps SDKs • Experience developing: • Custom geoprocessing tools • Python toolboxes • Web-based mapping applications • Dashboards and widgets • GIS extensions • Automated spatial analysis workflows • Experience integrating GIS platforms with AI and machine learning solutions.
