Based in their NYC midtown office 2-3x a week: • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our team. • As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in analyzing complex data using statistical and machine learning models, providing valuable insights, and driving data-driven decision-making processes. • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, statistics, and machine learning, along with proficiency in Python data analysis and visualization, API ecosystem, Linux OS, structured and non-structured databases, big data technologies (Databricks, Spark), and cloud services. Responsibilities: • Analyze complex data using statistical and machine learning models to derive actionable insights. • Utilize Python for data analysis, visualization, and working with APIs, Linux OS, databases, big data technologies, and cloud services. • Develop innovative solutions for natural language processing and generative modeling tasks using NLP, Generative AI, and LLMs. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data science solutions. • Communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders. Apply strong communication skills and experience in business analysis. • Work in an Agile framework, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field. • Proven experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques. • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and visualization, along with experience in working with APIs, Linux OS, databases, big data technologies, and cloud services. • Strong understanding and experience with NLP, Generative AI, and LLMs. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Experience in business analysis and working in an Agile framework.
