Role description
Our client is seeking a Senior Data Warehouse Analyst / Data Modeler to enhance and expand an existing enterprise analytics platform. This role is not focused on building Snowflake infrastructure or architecture from the ground up. Instead, the successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, integrate new data sources, enhance dimensional models, and translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams.
The ideal candidate combines strong data modeling expertise with excellent communication skills and experience working with complex ERP environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Gather and analyze business requirements from functional stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and source-to-target mapping documents for development teams.
• Design and enhance dimensional data models including fact and dimension tables.
• Integrate new data sources into the existing enterprise data warehouse.
• Define business rules, transformations, and data quality requirements.
• Partner with developers and business users to ensure successful delivery and minimize rework.
• Participate in requirements workshops and facilitate discussions between business and technical teams.
• Perform data analysis and validate results with stakeholders.
• Support reporting and analytics initiatives leveraging Power BI.
• Ensure consistency and scalability of the enterprise data model.
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise data warehousing and analytics.
• Strong expertise in dimensional modeling and Kimball methodologies.
• Experience designing and enhancing:
o Fact tables
o Dimension tables
o Star schemas
o Slowly Changing Dimensions (Type 1 and Type 2)
o Hierarchies and conformed dimensions
• Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience creating source-to-target mapping documents and transformation rules.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience integrating multiple source systems into an enterprise data warehouse.
• Ability to work effectively with both business users and technical teams.
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes.
Preferred Qualifications
• Oracle EBS experience.
• SAP experience.
• Salesforce CRM experience.
• Experience with DBT.
• Experience with Matillion.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Understanding of Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Finance, Inventory, and Supply Chain business processes.
