Senior Database Architect

Role: Senior Database Architect Location: London, UK Mode: Hybrid Type: Contract Job Description: Proven experience in PostgreSQL database administration. Minimum of 14 years of overall experience. Recommended: At least 5 years of experience in DB2 to PostgreSQL migration, with a track record of successfully completed migrations. Strong knowledge of performance tuning, query optimization, and replication. Experience with backup and recovery strategies. Familiarity with cloud-based PostgreSQL deployments (preferably AWS). Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Good to have knowledge of CDC (Change Data Capture) tools such as Precisely, zDIH, etc. Capability to implement CDC in both directions (PostgreSQL → DB2 and DB2 → PostgreSQL). Good to have (not mandatory): BluAge certification/knowledge and experience supporting migrations using BluAge Transformation.
