Senior Database Developer

Responsibilities Kforce had a client in need of a Senior Database Developer in Smithfield, RI. Responsibilities: • Developing and designing robust high per-performance database solutions • Assessing and researching current implementations of the platform and determining the course of action required to elevate the platform to meet customer needs • Taking the business requirements coupled with existing architecture to set a technical vision for features and major components and clearly articulating the evolutionary steps to achieve it Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar subject • 7-10 years of experience in information technology • Financial services experience • Languages: Oracle PL/SQL, Informatica ETL (Mandatory) • Databases: Good understanding and experience on RDBMS • Methodology: Agile • Others: Databases like SQL Server and Sybase • Certification in relevant technologies is preferred The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
