Senior Developer

Company Overview: A leading global investment management firm is seeking a Senior Developer to join their Application Development team in New York. The role involves supporting the Front Office Order Management System and collaborating with various stakeholders to build enterprise-level solutions. Job Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain mission-critical applications integrated with the firm’s Order Management System • Collaborate closely with traders, portfolio managers, compliance, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into full-fledged applications and processes • Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues quickly, and ensure system reliability • Implement best practices in software development, including design patterns, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines • Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and provide mentorship to junior developers Qualifications: • Strong understanding of Order Management Systems • 8+ years of hands-on software development experience, with expertise in C#/.NET Core and SQL Server • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, SOLID principles, and Service-Oriented Architecture • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field • Experience working in Asset Management or Hedge Fund environments, with knowledge of equities, fixed income, and portfolio management concepts • Experience with Microservices architecture, Azure Services, Azure DevOps (CI/CD), and distributed streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka is beneficial Compensation: Pay Rate: $85 – $100/hr, DOE The post Senior Developer appeared first on Landing Point.
