Senior Developer

Duration - 6+ months Location - Chicago, IL - Onsite on Tue, Wed and Thu Rate - 60-75/hour W2 OR 70-85/hour Corp W2 OR C2C works We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the reporting and analytics layer of a large-scale data platform. This role focuses on building robust reporting solutions that help customers analyze market trends, competitor performance, and business insights. What You’ll Do • Design, develop, test, and deliver complex software features across frontend, backend, and data platforms • Build and enhance reporting layers and APIs supporting data-driven products • Develop Angular-based UIs and C#/.NET backend services • Collaborate on feature-level architecture and design, including story grooming and breakdown • Work independently on large, multi-domain stories while following Agile best practices • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure high-quality, test-driven delivery Required Skills • Angular (v16–18) and TypeScript for modern frontend development • C# and .NET (6/8) for backend and full-stack development • REST API design and development • Databricks & Apache Spark experience • SQL Server for backend data and reporting use cases • Azure DevOps (CI/CD) for build, test, and deployment automation • Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Agile/Scrum experience Nice to Have • Python • Microsoft Azure (cloud) • Databricks Delta Lake & Unity Catalog • Exposure to Agentic AI tools Long-term opportunity | Modern tech stack | Data-driven product environment #tech #Hybrid #Chicago
