About the Role
We are seeking two Senior Developers to join a leading financial services institution in New York. This is a hands-on development role focused on enhancing their Rates and Credit eTrading platform, with a strong emphasis on low-latency, high-performance solutions.
You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to design, code, and test new functionality, ensuring scalability, reliability, and speed across mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and test new features within the Rates and Credit eTrading platform
• Implement enhancements related to ECN connectivity, Pricing, RFQ processing, and Straight-Through Processing (STP)
• Optimize for low latency, high capacity, and system performance
• Work across messaging layers, data caching, structure management, and concurrency handling
Must-Have Skills & Experience
• Programming: Server-side Java and/or C++, plus Python
• Messaging: Solace, Kafka, Aeron, MQ
• Databases: SQL, MS SQL, Oracle
• DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, UrbanCode
Nice-to-Have Skills
• Cloud: AWS (S3, SQS, SSM, KMS, etc.)
• Domain Knowledge: 2+ years’ experience in Front-Office Fixed Income, Equities, or FX platforms
