Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities: • Lead design, development, and deployment of cloud-native applications • Ensure alignment with: • Architectural standards • Business goals • Review: • Code merges • CI/CD pipeline activity • Monitor builds and deployments (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) • Build and integrate cloud-based solutions using AWS: • Compute • Storage • Serverless services Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree OR • 4 years of job-related work experience OR • 2 years of job-related experience plus an Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree • Minimum 8 years of experience in: • Application development • Systems testing • Other job-related IT experience Software Engineering & Frameworks • Full-stack development experience with: • Java / Java EE ecosystems • JavaScript frameworks • Agile methodology • Medicare domain experience Cloud Platforms & Architecture • Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure • Experience with: • Lift-and-shift • Re-platforming projects • Design and build: • Resilient • High availability (HA) • Fault-tolerant systems • Follow Cloud Well-Architected Framework AWS Services (Strongly Required) • EC2 • Lambda • RDS • Aurora • S3 • VPC • IAM • EKS / ECS • DynamoDB • API Gateway • CloudFormation • CloudWatch • CloudTrail • Secrets Manager Monitoring & Logging • Splunk • CloudWatch • X-Ray Infrastructure as Code (IaC) • Terraform • ARM Templates • CloudFormation Security & Compliance • NIST 800-53 • FedRAMP • Section 508 accessibility • WCAG standards CI/CD & DevSecOps • Jenkins • GitHub Actions • Selenium • SonarQube • Snyk • AWS CodePipeline or Azure DevOps Preferred: • Serverless architectures • Cloud security best practices • Cloud certifications • Containerization & orchestration: • Docker • ECS/Fargate • Kubernetes • Secure coding practices • Identity and Access Management (IAM) • Knowledge of compliance frameworks: • HIPAA • FedRAMP
