Senior Developer

Brief Description Sierra7 is seeking a Senior Developer to be part of an Agile scrum team, performing as an integral team member on a highly acclaimed project as part of a highly collaborative team. They are responsible for all team activities related to development as well as provide hands-on, mentoring, and technical leadership. It is desirable that candidates are also willing to share knowledge/experience or be mentored to learn and contribute towards additional development tasks such as ETL and while working in a collaborative manner with team members. Position Responsibilities • Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices • Build and deploy applications in cloud environment • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs • Create and maintain software documentation; create unit test cases; maintain job tickets • Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling site • Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities • Cooperate with web designers to match visual design with DevSecOps teams to address data server vulnerabilities • Provide DevOps support as needed Requirements • 7+ years as a developer, working on high performing teams using Angular, C#, ASP.net and/or CORE.net • Experience with Unit Testing APIs such as jUnit • Experience with Continuous Integration platforms such as Jenkins or Cloudbees • Experience with authoring and supporting SQL queries Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical discipline • 10+ years of relevant experience • 5+ years of relevant experience supporting government contracts • Experience working in VA highly preferred • Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience desired • Agile / SAFe 4 experience desired Why Join Sierra7?
