Job Title: Senior Developer (webMethods & GCP) Location: Columbus, OH Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) Employment Type: Contract Duration: 21+ months Pay Range: $38.46/hr. to $43.08/hr. on W2 | $50.00/hr. to $56.00/hr. on C2C Domain: Financial Services | Enterprise Integration & Cloud Application Deadline: June 10, 2026 SKILLS REQUIRED Primary (Must-Have): ✔️Software AG (SAG) Product Suite: webMethods Integration Server, webMethods Integration Cloud, Universal Messaging, and SAG Cloud ✔️Hands-on application build and deployment experience to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ✔️End-to-end DevOps deployment automation tools: Command Central, Deployer, Asset Build Environment (ABE), and wM Project Automator ✔️Strong CI/CD pipeline experience utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, GitLab, Apache Ant, and Maven ✔️5+ years of experience developing APIs (HTTP/HTTPS, REST, SOAP), Java services, microservices, XML, JSON, XPath, and XQuery ✔️3+ years of experience working with relational databases (MS SQL, stored procedures) Secondary (Good to Have): ✔️Working knowledge of enterprise logging and monitoring tools (Log4j, ELK, Splunk) ✔️Proven background coordinating across multiple cross-functional teams ✔️Experience working independently in high-velocity, nimble project environments POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking an elite Tech Lead / Senior Developer to join our team in Columbus, OH on a hybrid basis. In this role, you will lead the development, integration, and automated deployment of enterprise webMethods solutions into a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem. Managing a timeline through February 2028, the ideal candidate will bridge the gap between traditional Software AG integration design and modern cloud-native DevOps practices, operating with high autonomy to deliver mission-critical components for our financial services portfolio. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES ✔️Design, develop, and implement robust webMethods integration architectures utilizing Integration Server, Universal Messaging, and Java services. ✔️Own the end-to-end containerization and automated deployment pipelines of webMethods configurations into GCP using Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitLab. ✔️Manage SAG environment provisioning and deployment automation through Command Central, Deployer, Asset Build Environment (ABE), and wM Project Automator. ✔️Develop secure, scalable APIs (REST, SOAP, microservices) and manage data transformations using JSON, XML, XPath, and XQuery alongside MS SQL backend databases. ✔️Coordinate technical initiatives across multiple business units, providing architecture governance, monitoring solutions via ELK/Splunk, and ensuring seamless project delivery with minimal supervision.
