Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Dynatrace Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise monitoring and observability solutions across hybrid, multi-cloud, and microservices environments. The role involves configuring Dynatrace, monitoring infrastructure and applications, troubleshooting performance issues, performing root cause analysis (RCA), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and availability.
Key Responsibilities
• Configure, maintain, and optimize Dynatrace monitoring solutions.
• Develop dashboards, alerts, health checks, and monitoring standards.
• Monitor Windows/Linux servers, VMware, AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Monitor application performance, transaction flows, Real User Monitoring (RUM), and Synthetic Monitoring.
• Support monitoring of databases, middleware, and network components.
• Troubleshoot performance and availability issues; provide RCA and incident support.
• Identify monitoring gaps and recommend improvements to alerting and observability.
• Integrate monitoring solutions with ITSM platforms and support automation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure support, or enterprise monitoring.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace or similar APM tools.
• Experience with Windows/Linux, VMware, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing).
• Experience with PowerShell or Bash scripting (preferred).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes/container monitoring.
• Understanding of ITIL practices.
