Job Type: Full-time remote; occasional travel to customer sites What we are looking for in a candidate: The ideal candidate will have previous experience working at an MSP, IT consulting, or support multiple mid-sized customers with a minimum of five (5) in cloud engineering, focusing on Microsoft Azure technologies. Scope of responsibilities: · Act as the technical SME for Azure, Intune, EntraID, Defender, M365 and cloud migrations. · Architect, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available Azure infrastructure aligned with business objectives. · Ensure cloud environments adhere to applicable security, compliance, and regulatory requirements. · Produce and maintain clear, accurate architecture diagrams and technical documentation. · Optimize cloud resources to balance performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. · Support and maintain customer cloud environments, including planning and leading on-premises-to-cloud migration initiatives. · Design, implement, and regularly validate backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect data integrity and ensure business continuity. · Identify and implement process improvements through automation and effective use of technical skills. · Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide after-hours escalation support as required. · Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and deliver technical projects. · Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring and logging across Agiliant and customer environments. Experience and skills the ideal candidate should have: · Strong expertise in Azure, Microsoft services, and architecture. · Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing Microsoft Azure infrastructure and applications. · Ensure effective monitoring, logging, and observability across Azure environments. · Optimize Azure costs while maintaining performance, security, and availability. · Create and maintain clear technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and operational procedures. · Uphold quality, integrity, and governance standards throughout the engineering lifecycle. · Manage and support multiple client cloud environments and projects concurrently. · Implement automation using PowerShell, infrastructure templates, and cloud-native tools. · Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, compliance requirements, and risk management. · Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including VPNs, firewalls, and DNS. · Hands-on experience with Microsoft platforms such as Entra ID, Purview, Defender, Sentinel, Intune, and Exchange/M365. · Customer-focused with strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Adaptable, detail-oriented, and effective at prioritizing competing demands. · Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a collaborative mindset. · Technically curious, continuously learning, and a positive contributor to team culture. · Have a sense of humor.
