We’re Hiring: Senior Engineer - Ab Initio / ETL / Data Engineering - Wilmington, DE
Experience: 7+ Years
Looking for a Senior Engineer with deep expertise in Ab Initio, ETL development, and large-scale data engineering within Linux-based batch environments. Someone who can design and build scalable, enterprise-grade data applications and pipelines, with a strong focus on performance, quality, and reliability.
Required Qualifications
• 7+ years in Data Engineering, building end-to-end scalable data solutions
• 7+ years of Ab Initio and ETL development experience
• 5+ years implementing CICD, change management, data security, and auditing processes.
Technical Skills & Experience
• Strong experience with Ab Initio Co>Op System, GDE, Unix/Linux, and scripting
• Hands-on with GitHub and Autosys
• Proficient in Oracle and messaging systems like Kafka or IBM MQ
• Experience using Ab Initio components that integrate with messaging systems
• Converting database objects to JSON
• Managing and optimizing large-volume batch processes
• Strong in performance tuning for batch jobs
• Ability to design asynchronous micro-batches / non-linear batch processes
