Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering. Required Qualifications: Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

Design and implement agent orchestration patterns, including:
β’ Multi-agent coordination (plannerβexecutor, supervisor, human-in-the-loop)
β’ Task decomposition and execution flows
β’ Skill and tool composition and chaining
Build end-to-end agentic solutions on Microsoft 365 Copilot, including:
β’ Declarative and custom agents
β’ Orchestration layers for planning, execution, and recovery
β’ Tool and skill invocation pipelines
β’ Grounding over enterprise data via Microsoft Graph
Develop and contribute to reusable orchestration frameworks in Copilot Studio and Copilot Cowork, enabling teams to build composable, scalable agents
β’ Define and implement integration patterns across Microsoft 365 and OS platforms (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Windows, macOS, iOS, Android)
β’ Solve complex engineering problems related to:
β’ Multi-step workflow execution and coordination
β’ Latency and cost optimization
β’ Reliability in non-deterministic AI systems
Contribute to engineering best practices for agentic systems, including:
β’ Prompt and skill versioning
β’ Testing and evaluation strategies
β’ CI/CD for AI-enabled applications
Implement observability and monitoring for orchestrated workflows:
β’ Execution traces across steps and tools
β’ Performance and success metrics
β’ Debugging and failure analysis
Apply responsible AI practices in solution design:
β’ Guardrails and policy enforcement
β’ Data privacy and secure tool access
β’ Explainability of agent decisions
