Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Senior Engineer - Power Platform Developer based in London or the West Midlands for an initial 6-month contract.

β’ Job Spec:
Main responsibilities:
β’ Design and implement solutions using Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents / Copilot Studio) in alignment with Microsoftβs recommended best practices and guidelines.
β’ Utilize Dataverse for data modelling, relationships, business rules, and integration within Power Platform solutions.
β’ Define and implement Power Platform governance, including:
β’ Environment strategy and lifecycle management
β’ DLP (Data Loss Prevention) policy configuration and enforcement
β’ Monitoring and analytics using the Power Platform Admin Centre and CoE Starter Kit
β’ Develop and manage RPA solutions using Power Automate Desktop and cloud flows to automate business processes.
β’ Leverage AI capabilities within Power Platform (e.g., AI Builder, Copilot) to enhance automation and user experiences.
β’ Engage in daily communication with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
β’ Provide guidance on licensing models for Power Platform, ensuring cost-effective and compliant usage.
β’ Apply working knowledge of other Microsoft 365 services (e.g., Teams, SharePoint) to support integrated solutions.
β’ Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.
β’ Ensure security, compliance, and governance are embedded in all solutions.
β’ Continuously explore and propose innovative automation opportunities and service improvements using Microsoft technologies to enhance business efficiency and user experience.
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across Power Platform and SharePoint environments.
β’ Working knowledge with SharePoint Online.
β’ Knowledge of Azure AI Services.
Required Skills:
β’ 5+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 and Power Platform engineering roles.
β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills β able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
β’ Demonstrated innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
β’ Expertise in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate (including Desktop flows).
β’ Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, including migration from classic to modern SharePoint.
β’ Proven experience in Power Platform governance, including setting up and managing DLP policies.
β’ Hands-on experience with RPA tools, especially Power Automate Desktop.
β’ Familiarity with AI Builder and other AI tools in Power Platform.
