Now we’re building the systems to measure its real impact on speed, quality, and reliability β€” with guardrails. β€’ We’re hiring a Senior Engineer or Technical Lead to build and scale our AI Developer Productivity program. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, data, developer experience, and AI tooling. Key Responsibilities Build Our AI Productivity Measurement System β€’ Instrument and track AI tool adoption (Cursor, Claude Code) β€’ Measure suggestion acceptance and AI-assisted PR trends β€’ Connect AI usage to real delivery outcomes β€’ Improve Engineering Flow & Predictability β€’ Implement DORA metrics (deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, recovery time) Build GitHub-based insights: β€’ PR cycle time (p50/p75) β€’ Review SLAs β€’ Throughput & WIP aging β€’ Merge ? deploy timing β€’ Publish weekly scorecards and identify bottlenecks Protect Quality While Increasing Speed β€’ Enforce coverage standards (target: 80%) β€’ Monitor E2E health (Playwright pass rate, flakiness, time-to-fix) β€’ Track rework signals (churn, reverts, hotfixes) β€’ Ensure velocity gains don’t hide reliability regressions Build the Data & Automation Layer β€’ Standardize PR templates and labels (risk, AI usage, rollout plans) β€’ Automate ingestion from GitHub, CI/CD, and AI tools β€’ Deliver a unified dashboard (team-level metrics only β€” no individual ranking) β€’ Establish privacy-conscious governance standards What Success Looks Like (Within 6–12 months): β€’ PR cycle time improves measurably β€’ Rework and defect rates remain flat or decline β€’ Reliability metrics do not regress as throughput increases β€’ AI adoption clearly correlates with delivery improvements β€’ Engineering leaders rely on your dashboards for decision-making. Required Skills & Qualifications β€’ 6+ years of software engineering experience (platform or backend preferred) β€’ Experience with GitHub APIs, CI/CD systems, and engineering analytics β€’ Familiarity with DORA/Four Keys metrics β€’ Experience with automated testing frameworks (Playwright preferred) β€’ Strong systems thinking β€” able to balance speed, reliability, and sustainability β€’ Comfortable working across engineering, platform, and leadership stakeholders Nice To Have β€’ Experience with AI developer tools β€’ Experience building internal analytics or developer platforms β€’ Background in developer experience (DevEx) or engineering enablement.
