Senior ETL Developer

Role: ETL Developer Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) W2 No OPT/CPT Local only Summary: We are seeking a Lead-level ETL Developer with 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and optimizing ETL pipelines. The ideal candidate has strong database expertise and hands-on experience in ETL development, preferably with Ab Initio or similar tools. This role will support a transition from DB2 to SQL and will be heavily involved in testing, data transformation, and pipeline optimization. Prior experience in large-scale financial or banking projects is a plus. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL workflows and data pipelines. • Support the migration from DB2 to SQL, including testing and validation. • Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures. • Collaborate with business analysts and data teams to ensure data accuracy and quality. • Troubleshoot ETL issues and ensure data reliability and consistency across systems. Required Skills: • 10+ years of hands-on ETL development experience. • Strong SQL / T-SQL development and optimization skills. • Experience with Ab Initio or similar ETL tools (Informatica knowledge is a plus). • Strong understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and performance tuning. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities. • Experience supporting database migration and testing efforts.
