Job Description:
This hybrid role requires strong experience in Informatica IICS/PowerCenter, complex SQL development, and data integration across multiple sources. The selected candidate will contribute to the design and implementation of a large-scale Data Integration Hub supporting health data systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and automate ETL processes using Informatica IICS, IDMC, or PowerCenter.
Acquire and integrate data from multiple sources: Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, PDF, etc.
Design and build optimized SQL scripts to support a dimensional data model.
Support Tableau dashboard integration and web services using Java.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Contribute to system design, technical documentation, and mockup creation.
Assist in automated data validation and QA testing processes.
Work closely with architects and developers on data acquisition and solution design.
Identify and track defects, implement test plans, and ensure system stability and quality.
Maintain security and confidentiality of sensitive health-related data.
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years ETL development using Informatica IICS, IDMC, or Power Center.
8+ years integrating data from varied sources including structured and semi-structured formats.
8+ years of advanced SQL development experience.
8+ years working in data warehousing, data analytics, or performance systems.
Strong experience in Python for test automation.
Skilled in technical documentation and diagramming tools (Visio, Erwin, etc.).
Proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with automated test frameworks and regression testing.
Exposure to AI-integrated products or AI platforms.
Experience in observability and scalable test infrastructure.
Past contributions to test automation innovation.
Project Information:
Project supports the Data Integration Hub for health and human services data.
Involves automated data acquisition, dimensional modeling, and performance validation.
Hybrid work model (some onsite work required in Austin, TX).
Contract term: 12 months, with possible extensions.
