Job Title: Senior ETL Developer (Teradata, GCP, Ab Initio) Location: Charlotte, NC – Hybrid Onsite Type: Contract (12 Months) Job Overview: We are hiring a Senior ETL Developer with strong experience in Teradata, Ab Initio, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to lead the design and development of BMG Teradata and GCP applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong SQL expertise, data pipeline design skills, and cloud-based data integration experience. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Ab Initio and/or SSIS. • Develop complex SQL queries and procedures for data manipulation in Teradata and SQL Server. • Design and optimize queries in Google BigQuery as part of the GCP migration/modernization. • Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, and data model review. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, cloud architects, and data analysts. • Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of ETL jobs and cloud data solutions. • Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and secure deployment practices in GCP. Required Qualifications: • 7+ years of overall software engineering experience. • 7+ years of experience working with Teradata and advanced SQL. • 5+ years of experience with ETL development using Ab Initio (or SSIS). • 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms, especially GCP. • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Google BigQuery. • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in large-scale data environments. Preferred Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience with Spark and Python. • 3+ years of experience with DevOps practices and automated cloud deployments. • Experience working in Agile teams. • Cloud certifications in GCP or equivalent. • Working knowledge of Google Cloud services, APIs, and data pipelines.
