Role description
Position: Data Analyst - III
Location: Onsite: 44 Maiden Lane, New York, NY 10045
Duration: 11+ months contract with possibility of extension
Shift timing: Mon- Fri: 8 AM- 5 PM (8 hrs/day & 40 hrs/week)
Pay Rate: $83.73/hr on W2

Qualifications:
β’ Relevant work experience in a financial, economic, or analytic role;
β’ Proficiency with and ability to code using Python and ability to create tools and analytics using Python Dash and proficiency using Git to create and manage code repositories required;
β’ Strong demonstrated understanding of U.S. and global capital and money markets structure and products (e.g., Equities, Private Equity, Repurchase agreements, debt, etc.);
β’ Experience in analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, operational excellence, communication (written and verbal), stakeholder management, interpersonal, and self-management skills;
β’ Experience in business intelligence, financial markets and products, regulatory reporting, or data analytics.
β’ Ability to provide efficient and accurate verbal and written analysis;
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
Responsibilities:
β’ Participate and collaborate on automation efforts and new technology solutions, expanding our technology platform capabilities to increase self-service, enhance resiliency and improve efficiency;
β’ Independently conduct data analysis and visualizations, develop questions that resolve data quality anomalies, and research interpretive inquiries for complex data series, reporters, and data concepts. This includes providing respondents and stakeholders guidance on technical reporting issues;
β’ Perform extended analysis and question respondents on data quality items of note related to complex reports and institutions. Establish and lead dialogue with financial institutions to enhance data quality and controls;
β’ Summarize multiple sources of information concerning data collections and relationships of varying sizes and degrees of complexity to produce well-supported and influential analyses and inquiries.
β’ Research inquiries and reporting issues and propose sound conclusions based on reporting instructions and guidance;
β’ Build effective working relationships with stakeholders; assess and respond to requests on data collection operations and analysis of institutionsβ reporting practices;
β’ Participate in Function and System workgroups as assigned
