Role description
Senior Financial Analyst
Client is seeking a highly motivated individual with exceptional analytical skills to join us as a Senior Financial Analyst responsible for portfolio products. The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team is a small high energy team providing finance partnership to business leaders across all functions. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a high impact team in a rapidly growing organization. We provide analysis to support strategic decisions, conduct financial reviews of a wide range of business issues and manage financial processes such as planning, forecasting, reporting, and tracking performance. You will help to build and evaluate strategic product decisions for the business. More tactically, you will be responsible for overseeing the short and long-range planning, target setting and evaluating investment opportunities. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, highly analytical, and have extensive experience compiling and analyzing a variety of metrics. Will work PST or MT hours.
Your Role
• Manage emerging products financials for both forecast and actual: Product topline metrics (ACV, ARR, discount, term, retention rate etc.), COGS, Opex spending by functions, profitability, and cash flow, to synthesize and report key business insights and identify areas needing optimization.
• Partner with product management, R&D, sales, and strategic operation teams to build short-term and long-term financial models, drive solid operating cadence and financial discipline across all the products.
• Maintain, design, and build dashboard in Tableau to track topline key metrics and provide PM and Executives with live insightful results.
• Efficiently and effectively communicate financial results and potential risks to key stakeholders.
• Be a representative / voice of Finance to management.
• Ad hoc projects and financial analyses to support key business decisions.
What You'll Bring
• BA/BS in Finance or Accounting.
• 4+ years of relevant analytical experience in Tech / SaaS Product Finance, FP&A
• Fluent understanding of Product P&L dynamics, unit economics, and common SaaS metrics.
• Unparalleled sense of ownership and accountability.
• Superior knowledge of excel with advanced knowledge of logical functions a must
• Intermediate knowledge of Tableau dashboard preferred.
