Role description
Seeking an experienced accounting professional with strong financial reporting and consolidation expertise.
Responsibilities
• Lead the consolidation of financial results across multiple subsidiaries and prepare consolidated financial statements.
• Perform intercompany eliminations, top-side adjustments, and reconciliations.
• Support SEC reporting, including preparation of financial statement disclosures and supporting documentation.
• Review and analyze disclosure data to ensure compliance with US GAAP requirements.
• Review XBRL tagging and assist with external reporting activities.
• Conduct accounting research and prepare technical accounting position papers.
• Support implementation of new accounting standards and disclosure requirements.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and business partners to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Drive process improvements related to financial reporting and consolidation activities.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with financial statement consolidations.
• Experience with SAP consolidation modules, specifically SAP BCS and/or SAP BPC.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience preparing income statements and consolidated financial statements.
• Experience with intercompany eliminations and consolidation accounting.
• Candidates must have an accounting background and direct ownership of consolidation activities.
• SAP technical or implementation-only experience is not sufficient.
