We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend solutions, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability across applications. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js, following best practices in coding standards, performance optimization, and security. • Architect and implement solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a strong focus on: • Cloud Run Services for building and deploying containerized applications. • AI Applications (formerly Agent Builder Applications) for integrating advanced conversational AI and automation. • Gemini 2.0, leveraging the Discovery Engine API for intelligent search and personalized experiences. • Optimize application performance by analyzing bottlenecks, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring seamless scalability for high-volume workloads. • Implement secure APIs and services, adhering to enterprise security standards and compliance requirements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, data scientists, AI engineers, and product managers, to deliver innovative, user-centric features. • Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical design discussions, and promote best practices for backend development and cloud-native solutions. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and a smooth user experience. • Stay current with emerging technologies in cloud, AI, and backend engineering to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
