Senior GIS Support Analyst – ArcGIS, ArcFM, Enterprise GIS Hybrid in New York W-2 Contract - no 3rd party enquiries Initial 12-month duration $60-$70/hr Senior GIS Support Analyst opportunity supporting a large-scale enterprise GIS environment within a complex technical estate. This Senior GIS Support Analyst position suits someone who enjoys hands-on technical ownership while acting as a key escalation point across multiple support tiers. The Role As a Senior GIS Support Analyst, you will take responsibility for keeping critical GIS platforms stable, secure, and optimised. This role blends development, administration, and advanced troubleshooting across enterprise GIS systems. You will work closely with infrastructure, security, database, and application teams, acting as a trusted point of contact for both technical colleagues and business stakeholders. What You’ll Be Doing This Senior GIS Support Analyst role includes: • Supporting enterprise GIS platforms across Tier 1 through Tier 3 • Enhancing existing systems using Python, AngularJS, ArcGIS JavaScript API, and C# • Deploying and administering ArcGIS Enterprise components • Managing portals, servers, roles, privileges, and access permissions • Monitoring performance, tuning services, and identifying issues early • Publishing GIS services and supporting live production environments • Troubleshooting complex incidents raised by business users • Working alongside security teams, DBAs, and server support functions • Providing structured updates through ticketing and reporting channels • Contributing to on-call rotations with flexible coverage windows What We’re Looking For To succeed as a Senior GIS Support Analyst, you’ll bring: • 5–10 years supporting and administering ArcGIS platforms • Strong experience with ArcFM applications • Proven development skills across Python, AngularJS, ArcGIS JS API, and .NET • Hands-on ArcGIS Enterprise deployment experience • Confidence with system monitoring and performance optimisation • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical teams This Senior GIS Support Analyst role offers exposure to enterprise-scale systems, real technical influence, and the chance to work within a collaborative, highly skilled environment.
