Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer to design, configure, develop, integrate, and implement enterprise solutions on the Guidewire ClaimCenter platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter Configuration, Guidewire Cloud, and ClaimCenter Integrations, along with a strong understanding of the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance claims lifecycle. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and integration teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, configure, develop, test, and deploy Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions.
• Configure claims functionality, including First Notice of Loss (FNOL), exposures, assignments, reserves, payments, recoveries, subrogation, litigation, and claim closure.
• Develop business rules, workflows, validation rules, assignment rules, and UI configurations using Guidewire Studio.
• Build and customize solutions using Gosu, PCF, Entities, Typelists, Plugins, and Data Model Extensions.
• Design and develop integrations between ClaimCenter and internal/external enterprise systems using REST APIs, SOAP Services, Messaging Frameworks, Plugins, and Batch Processes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, claims stakeholders, architects, and Product Owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Prepare technical specifications, system designs, integration mappings, and supporting documentation.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, security, and performance best practices.
• Develop unit tests and support integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoot production, integration, and configuration issues while performing root cause analysis.
• Support Guidewire ClaimCenter upgrades, Guidewire Cloud migrations, and platform modernization initiatives.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, release planning, deployment activities, and post-production support.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across project teams.
Required Skills
• 12+ years of overall IT experience with 8+ years of hands-on Guidewire ClaimCenter development.
• Strong experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter Configuration.
• Hands-on expertise in Guidewire Studio, Gosu, PCF, Entities, Typelists, Business Rules, Workflows, Plugins, and Data Model Extensions.
• Strong experience developing Guidewire ClaimCenter Integrations using REST APIs, SOAP Services, Messaging, Batch Processing, and Plugins.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming, XML, JSON, SQL, and Web Services.
• Strong understanding of the Property & Casualty Insurance Claims Lifecycle.
• Experience participating in at least one end-to-end Guidewire ClaimCenter implementation or major upgrade.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
