Position: Senior Data Analyst (HRIS)
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 6 to 12 Months Contract

Client currently seeks a βSenior Data Analyst (HRIS)β to join our team in βBoston, MA [Hybrid 4 days/week is must and in-person interview is mandatory]β.
Job responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Management
Serve as the primary business-facing technical advisor for Workday HRIS implementations and optimizations
Develop comprehensive HRIS strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives
Lead discovery sessions to gather and analyze business requirements
Present technical solutions and recommendations to executive stakeholders
Manage client expectations and ensure high satisfaction throughout project lifecycle
Technical Oversight
Architect end-to-end HRIS and Workday solutions across multiple modules (HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Payroll)
Make critical design decisions regarding system configuration, integrations, and data management
Review and approve technical specifications, solution designs, and test plans
Identify and resolve complex technical challenges that arise during implementations
Ensure solutions adhere to best practices and governance requirements
Team Leadership
Provide direction and mentorship to a team of data engineers
Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables
Facilitate knowledge sharing and professional development within the team
Project Governance
Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies
Ensure adherence to project methodology and quality standards
Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and methodologies
Minimum Skills Required: Required Experience & Skills
β’ 10+ years of experience in HRIS consulting, implementation, or administration
5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday/Greenhouse, including multiple full lifecycle implementations
Experience with cloud data warehouse platforms, preferably Snowflake
Experience with architecting or working with ELT technologies (such as DBT) and data architectures
Workday certifications - including at least one advanced certification
Experience leading teams and managing complex HRIS projects
Deep understanding of HR processes, compliance requirements, and industry best practices
Strong client relationship management and executive communication skills
Proven problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting expertise
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
