Job Title: Senior Ignition SME

Key Responsibilities
Act as the technical authority and handson developer for Ignitionbased automation and MES solutions
Gather analyze and document business and functional requirements
Translate requirements into functional designs Ignition screens scripts and integration logic
Design develop and deploy Ignition projects using Gateway Designer Perspective and Vision modules
Create and optimize Perspective HMI dashboards alarms reporting workflows and data pipelines
Configure Tag Providers Transaction Groups Tag Historian and MQTT connectivity
Integrate Ignition with PLCs OPC UA servers SQL databases and ERPMESexternal systems
Lead and participate in solution architecture reviews scalability planning and performance optimization
Ensure Best practices Coding standards Version control and documentation are maintained
Mentor and guide junior developers providing technical reviews and onthejob training
Collaborate closely with business users plant engineers and ITOT teams
Ensure compliance with ISA95 cybersecurity and organizational standards
Required Skills Qualifications
10-15 years of experience in industrial automation SCADAMES or IIoT projects
Strong handson experience developing solutions in Ignition v81
Expertise in Perspective Vision and Gateway scripting using PythonJython
Proficiency in SQL databases query design stored procedures data modeling
Strong understanding of Automotive manufacturing processes OTIT integration and MES concepts
Solid experience in PLC communication OPC UA and MQTT protocols
Proven ability to lead technical discussions and deliver complex automation projects endtoend
Excellent business analysis documentation and stakeholder communication skills
Familiarity with ISA95 standards MES frameworks and enterprise integration patterns
Preferred Skills
Ignition Gold Certified or equivalent advanced certification
Exposure to Cloudbased Ignition deployments Edge Computing and DockerKubernetes
Experience with Git CICD and automated deployment processes
Good to have experience in automotive sector automation projects Stamping Plastic Casting Paint
