Role description
Title: IT Business Analyst
6 month contract to start with extensions
The Business Analyst elicits requirements and supports the planning, design, and delivery of business systems and digital solutions that power our online sales and setup and maintenance operations. This role also gathers and analyzes data to shape e-commerce initiatives across web and mobile storefronts, integrations (ERP/OMS/WMS/PIM/CRM), and customer experience touchpoints. The analyst applies strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills to translate business needs into clear user stories and specifications, guide delivery teams, and maximize ROI from e-commerce technology investments.
Experience and qualification
· Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience), plus:
· 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst supporting e-commerce, retail, or direct‑to‑consumer initiatives.
· Experience facilitating cross‑functional workshops and communicating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
· Critical thinking and root cause analysis: ability to diagnose issues, summarize findings, and propose action plans within scope.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines in Agile environments; experience with Jira/Confluence or similar tools.
· Self-directed; requires limited oversight; strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
· Experience in CPG, e-commerce or retail operations, including DTC fulfillment, and omnichannel capabilities
· Understanding of project management practices and vendor/SI management.
· Experience with data architecture design, schemas, and reporting/dashboard construction and design
Compensation:
$55/hr to $60/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
