Role description
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP). This role will be pivotal in developing a voice-based content discovery system that powers millions of voice commands used by customers worldwide.
As a member of the Voice Agents (VREX) team, your focus will be on enhancing an advanced messaging system that integrates structured data and language models for seamless communication in multiple languages. Someone who has a good exposure working in building ranking model in algorithms. You will also contribute to improving action resolution modules, ensuring superior user experiences, especially when interactions deviate from standard expectations.
Core Responsibilities:
β’ NLP & ML Application: Apply scientific knowledge in NLP and machine learning to collect, analyze, and interpret data, while formulating hypotheses, designing solutions, and running experiments to evaluate them.
β’ Voice & Language Understanding: Address complex voice, language understanding, and dialog issues, applying them to real-world scenarios in entertainment, digital home, and customer service domains.
β’ System Maintenance & Optimization: Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain large-scale applications/services using a microservice architecture, processing millions of requests per day.
β’ Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, researchers, and product managers, to deliver customer-centric solutions that balance fairness and business value.
β’ Accountability: Demonstrate responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of the teamβs work, ensuring that goals and objectives are met efficiently.
Qualifications:
β’ Education: bachelorβs or masterβs degree in computer science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
β’ Experience: At least 6 years of relevant work experience in machine learning and NLP.
β’ Skills:
β’ Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
β’ Deep knowledge of natural language processing, machine learning, deep learning, and optimization techniques.
β’ Should have a strong exposure in building Ranking Model in Algorithm.
β’ Experience with large language models (LLMs) such as GPT and PHI, including integrating them with complex real-time data processing systems and optimizing LLM prompts.
β’ Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) for deploying and managing ML models.
β’ Experience handling multilingual data and building systems supporting multiple languages.
β’ Strong problem-solving, research, and creative solution formulation abilities.
β’ Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
