Primary Objective/ Purpose of Position: As a functional expert, the Business Intelligence senior manager will be responsible for analysis, monitoring, and providing insights which meaningfully improve brand strategy across EUR & INT region. The position will work closely with the cross-functional brand teams, finance/forecasting teams, and Customer Strategy & Operational Excellence teams. The role will provide comprehensive analysis & insights to aid sound evidence-based decisions which meaningfully improve brand strategy and being an effective business partner to the regional & affiliate brand teams. Essential Functions: Strategic Decision-Making Support Establish & execute appropriate Market Research and Insights Plans tailored to brand specific needs to address information gaps and key business/brand questions. This includes determining the budget, managing the work load & delivering to expected timelines. As part of the cross-functional brand team, support any life cycle management (LCM) activities providing insights, analysis & functional expertise. Assist EUR/INT commercial team with relevant global footprint assessments providing insights, analysis & functional expertise. Brand Performance Monitoring & Forecasting Management of brand performance tracking and reporting, effectively communicating findings with insight and tailoring relevance to specific brand initiatives Assist with updating the regional patient forecasting model used for LE process Support development of regional/central near-term and long-term forecast for future indications and/or ad-hoc ‘what if’ queries Work closely as needed with the Global Forecasting CoE, portfolio strategy team, & brand teams ensuring consistency and accuracy for the EUR/INT region. Deliver forecast internal benchmarking across affiliates based on key patient model assumptions. Market trend analysis – use available tools like IQVIA sales reporting and secondary data research to support brand strategies and solve complex business questions. EUR/INT BI Centre of Excellence Contribute to the development of the Regional BI Centre of Excellence by delivering on BI CoE projects as needed. Assist with process improvements associated to delivering best in class business intelligence services. Business Partnership Active participation in cross-functional brand teams where required, supporting & guiding brand strategy. Support local affiliates that do not have BI resource in generation of brand specific insights. Deliver best in class Business Intelligence service & support to the regional & affiliate teams Essential Qualifications and Experience: A Bachelor’s Degree (Life-science preferred) or equivalent experience. Experience within a life sciences company or consulting firm supporting the healthcare industry with a specific focus on delivery of business analytics and insights projects. Understanding of pharmaceutical data, including market research data, and which source to leverage to answer business questions most effectively. Versed in working collaboratively & cross-functionally, with Commercial and Marketing, Medical Affairs, Research & Development, and other relevant teams.
