Position Summary The Senior Manager of Consumer Insights will play a critical role in delivering actionable, data-driven insights to support the Home Appliance business unit and teams including Brand Marketing, Demand Generation, eCommerce, Owner Experience, and Corporate Marketing. This individual will integrate traditional research methods with modern analytics techniques—particularly in natural language processing (NLP), text analytics, and AI—to ensure the voice of the consumer is continuously informing business strategy and customer-facing initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Manage and support a small team of Insights professionals, cultivating a culture of innovation, agility, and excellence. • Design and execute comprehensive consumer research programs using a mix of quantitative, qualitative, and advanced analytic methodologies. • Leverage NLP, sentiment analysis, and other AI-driven tools to mine unstructured data sources such as open-ended survey responses, online reviews, social media, and call center transcripts. • Integrate multiple data sources (surveys, behavioral data, CRM, social listening, etc.) to develop a holistic view of the consumer journey. • Deliver strategic recommendations that influence marketing, product, and customer experience teams, ensuring insights are translated into compelling narratives and action. • Champion emerging market research technologies such as conversational AI, synthetic audiences, predictive modeling, and real-time insight platforms. • Develop audience segmentation frameworks and customer personas using advanced analytics and behavioral data. • Build and maintain standardized dashboards and reporting tools to track KPIs, segment shifts, and market dynamics. • Stay current on market research trends, competitive activity, and consumer behavior patterns to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation. • Partner cross-functionally to embed insights into go-to-market plans, brand strategy, product innovation, and lifecycle marketing. • Communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders using visual storytelling and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, ThoughtSpot). Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Market Research, Data Science, Psychology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. • 7+ years of market research or consumer insights experience. • Deep expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. • Proven experience applying NLP, text analytics, and social listening to derive consumer insights from unstructured data. • Fluency in tools such as SPSS, R, Python, Qualtrics, Tableau, ThoughtSpot and/or similar. • Strong strategic thinking, storytelling, and executive communication skills. • Experience presenting insights to senior stakeholders. • Adept at managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
