Role description
Our Entertainment/Streaming client is seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics to join their team for the next 3+ months, 40 hours/week.
This role is onsite 5 days a week in Burbank, CA.
Role Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director of Global Marketing & Social Analytics, the Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics plays a critical role in driving strategic, data-informed decision-making across U.S. and global theatrical marketing teams. This leader is responsible for delivering advanced analysis, experimentation, and actionable insights that shape campaign strategy, creative execution, and media planning across key markets. The role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to elevate data literacy and foster a culture of insight-led decision-making throughout the organization.

Advanced expertise in marketing analytics, campaign effectiveness measurement, and performance optimization across paid and organic channels
Proven ability to lead and execute analytics and insight initiatives across U.S. and global markets
Strong quantitative analysis skills with the ability to identify key business questions and translate data into clear, actionable recommendations
Deep knowledge of the TV, streaming, and social media landscape, including audience behavior and engagement metrics
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to synthesize complex analyses for non-technical audiences
Additional Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
6+ years of experience in a highly analytical, data-driven environment (e.g., entertainment, digital media, consumer insights, consulting, investment banking), including at least 2 years within a major studio, streaming platform, or theatrical marketing agency
Experience leading market research or consumer insights initiatives, particularly within the theatrical or entertainment space
Hands-on experience with audience intelligence and social listening platforms such as Talkwalker, ListenFirst, Affinio/Audiense, Brandwatch, or Sprinklr
Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools including Tableau, Looker, Google Data Studio, or Power BI
Strong project management skills with experience overseeing vendors, timelines, and insight delivery
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive impact in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
Responsibilities
Lead the development and delivery of high-impact insights that inform strategic prioritization, optimization, and performance evaluation of global marketing campaigns across paid and organic channels
Monitor real-time audience reactions across social media, digital platforms, and other feedback channels to identify shifts in moviegoing behavior, consumer patterns, and emerging technologies
Synthesize audience insights, campaign performance data, and regional box office trends into clear recommendations that guide marketing and content strategy
Partner closely with creative marketing teams to provide media rotation and optimization recommendations based on campaign performance data
Conduct competitive and industry analyses to surface trends and support actionable strategic and tactical decisions
Lead high-priority, ad-hoc analyses and research initiatives to inform near-term decisions and long-term theatrical planning
Serve as a thought partner to internal stakeholders, elevating data fluency and reinforcing an insight-driven approach to decision-making
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
