Description: Will this position be required to work onsite for any reason at any time? Yes, Resource will have hybrid work arrangements. Engagement Description – The Senior Health Care Analyst is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, implementing, and leading department assignments. This position operates within broad objectives to ensure optimum utilization of Client and budget. This role is responsible for research, compilation, and analyzing appropriate and relevant data and makes recommendations for operational improvements. Top 3 Required Skills/Experience – β€’ Strong working knowledge of data languages such as SAS and SQL to create business reports and dashboards β€’ Working with large data sources and analyzing pharmacy data β€’ Analytical business experience in using Medicare pharmacy data Required Skills/Experience – The rest of the required skills/experience. Include: β€’ Ability to design and develop SharePoint site and operational reporting using SAS data sources. β€’ Knowledge of PBM systems and tools. β€’ Excellent analytical, planning, problem solving, verbal, and written skills to communicate complex ideas. β€’ Excellent knowledge and use of existing software packages (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.). β€’ Ability to use AI tools for data analytics and reporting. Preferred Skills/Experience – Optional but preferred skills/experience. Include: β€’ Provides audit and analytics support to Medicare pharmacy services business team. β€’ Builds and supports business reports to be included in executive dashboard. β€’ Gathers requirements for part D dashboard and implements the dashboard on SharePoint platform. β€’ Leads in the research, analysis, identification, and evaluation of data from assigned problems to evaluate existing and potential trends and issues. β€’ Possesses and maintains an extensive comprehensive knowledge of major health care payer business, products, programs (including provider data, networks, etc.), corporate organizational structure (including functional responsibilities), and basic research principles and methodologies. β€’ Manages and monitors multiple projects simultaneously by establishing project plans and objectives to ensure goal attainment within defined parameters. β€’ Develops lines of communication to discuss and review results of analysis to management via reports and presentations and assists management in implementing programs that provide solutions. β€’ Investigates, reviews, recommends, communicates, and implements solutions which identify problems/root cause of issues. β€’ Identifies and resolves challenges to fulfill key corporate objectives and responds to the demands of change management and initiates actions needed to plan, organize, and control team activities. β€’ Provides expertise and guidance to unit and corporate staff as required. β€’ Acts as a liaison between corporate business areas and participates in group or committee discussions. β€’ EXPERIENCE: β€’ Seven years' experience in a related field, typically in two subject areas (e.g., financial analysis, data analytics, health care economics, statistical modeling, business decisions or business management). Education/Certifications – Include: β€’ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. Master's degree in a related field is preferred. Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Continuous learning, as defined by the Company's learning philosophy, is required.
