Role description
Are you an experienced IT professional with a passion for cloud solutions and driving digital transformation? We’re looking for a Senior Microsoft Consultant to join our Client and lead the way in implementing Microsoft 365 (M365) and SharePoint solutions, as well as migrating on-premise storage to cloud platforms, particularly Azure. As a Senior Microsoft Consultant, you'll work closely with our Client (a no-for-profit Charitable trust) to design, implement, and optimise their IT systems, ensuring a seamless transition to cloud environments while enhancing collaboration, data management, and productivity with M365 and SharePoint.Key Responsibilities: β€’ Lead M365 & SharePoint implementation projects, driving the integration of these technologies into business operations. β€’ Manage migration projects from on-premise storage systems to Azure Cloud, ensuring a smooth, efficient transition with minimal disruption. β€’ Provide expert advice on cloud architecture, security, scalability, and performance optimization in Azure. β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear project plans. β€’ Ensure projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. β€’ Offer guidance on best practices for leveraging M365, SharePoint, and Azure to improve organizational processes and workflows. β€’ Stay updated on the latest trends in cloud technology, M365, and SharePoint developments to advise clients on future-proof solutions.Key Requirements: β€’ Proven experience in delivering large-scale M365 and SharePoint implementations. β€’ Extensive experience migrating from on-prem storage to cloud environments, particularly Azure. β€’ Strong understanding of Azure architecture, security, and deployment. β€’ Relevant certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, or equivalent. β€’ Solid knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches. β€’ Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. β€’ Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex IT challenges. β€’ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Desirable Skills: β€’ Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint and Azure automation. β€’ Experience with Microsoft Teams integration and governance. β€’ Previous experience in a consultancy or client-facing role.Our Clients Offering: β€’ Work on cutting-edge cloud technology projects and transform how businesses use Microsoft products. β€’ Collaborate with a dynamic, innovative team of experts. β€’ Opportunities for continuous learning and professional development. β€’ Work-life balance in a flexible work environment.
