Role: Senior Node.js Backend Engineer – TypeScript | Remote Duration: Contract Location: Remote Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer with strong expertise in TypeScript and microservices architecture to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing scalable, high-performance backend systems and APIs in a cloud-native environment. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript • Write unit tests using Jest and perform BDD testing with Mockito • Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub • Collaborate in an Agile SCRUM environment with cross-functional teams including Product, Business, and Automation • Work with Docker/Kubernetes for containerization and deployment • Apply best practices in software architecture, design patterns, and distributed computing • Integrate and work with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cosmos DB) • Utilize Git for version control and team collaboration • (Bonus) Experience building and maintaining GraphQL services Qualifications: • Proficient in Object-Oriented Programming • Strong understanding of RESTful architecture and data modeling • Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
