About the Role
We are seeking a highly autonomous Senior Operational Reporting Analyst to own the end-to-end delivery of contractual and operational reporting for our healthcare programs and client partnerships. In this senior individual contributor role, you will serve as the trusted reporting lead for key clients ensuring accurate, repeatable, and scalable production of mission-critical deliverables while driving continuous improvement in our reporting workflows. This is not a people-management role; success is measured by your technical ownership, client partnership, and operational leadership.

Manage reporting calendars and ensure 100% on-time delivery of contractual obligations
Design and maintain executive-ready reporting packages (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, PDF) that translate complex data into clear operational insights
Technical Execution & Data Integrity
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries (MS SQL/Oracle) to support recurring and ad hoc reporting
Apply deep healthcare domain knowledge to navigate clinical/claims data models, validate data lineage, and resolve discrepancies
Implement structured QA processes to ensure accuracy before client delivery
Client Partnership & Communication
Serve as the primary reporting point of contact for assigned stakeholders
Translate ambiguous business requirements into precise technical specifications
Present findings and explain trends to non-technical audiences, including client executives and program leadership
Process Improvement & Mentorship
Standardize reporting templates, documentation, and quality controls to improve repeatability
Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and delivery risk
Support onboarding and mentor junior analysts on reporting best practices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent work experience
7+ years of operational reporting or analytics experience in healthcare or managed care
Advanced SQL proficiency (complex joins, CTEs, query optimization) and expert-level Excel skills
Demonstrated experience with BI/reporting tools (SSRS, Tableau, or Power BI)
Proven ability to deliver high-stakes, contractual reporting under tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail
Strong understanding of healthcare data models (claims, encounters, member eligibility) and operations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to clients and executives
Commitment to data security standards including HIPAA compliance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce CRM or healthcare-specific applications (e.g., EAP, behavioral health platforms)
Knowledge of data warehouse architecture and ETL processes
Background in QA frameworks or data governance
Behavioral health, population health, or EAP analytics experience
