This role owns projects end-to-end—from intake and design through analysis and executive-ready insights—while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with business objectives. The analyst partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, requiring strong technical expertise, communication, and initiative.Top Qualifications: • Advanced Excel expertise • Strong experience with SAP and Salesforce • Proven ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines • Comfortable proactively coordinating with all levels of leadership Key Responsibilities: • Manage complex data analysis projects with limited supervision, delivering results on time and within budget • Design and execute analyses to achieve business objectives • Process, analyze, and interpret data; produce clear, concise findings tailored to specific audiences • Develop ad hoc reports, trends, statistics, and operational profiles • Manage complex data extracts and list pulls while ensuring data accuracy • Transfer and distribute datasets to analysts supporting operational initiatives • Create and maintain automated reporting routines and data delivery processes • Apply advanced data processing, manipulation, and cleansing techniques • Communicate actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders • Recommend enhancements to databases, data sources, and analytical processes Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience • 4+ years of related experience in data analysis or operations analytics • Strong proficiency in Excel, SAP, and Salesforce • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills • Strong communication and presentation skills Preferred / Desired Skills: • Familiarity with utility operations • Advanced Excel/Access skills (complex formulas, graphing, VBA) • Advanced SQL querying (Oracle, Business Objects) • UNIX shell scripting (csh, awk, sed, vi) • Knowledge of SAS and programming languages such as Visual Basic, Perl, or C • Project management experience Soft Skills: • Teamwork and collaboration • Strong initiative and ownership mindset • Excellent time management and organization BenefitsMedical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans 401(k) Retirement FundAbout the CompanyLeading natural gas and electric energy company serving millions of customers across the United States.
