Pay Rate: $55.00 - $60.00/hourJob Summary:The Senior Operations Data Analyst manages complex data analysis initiatives supporting operational decision-making. This role owns projects end-to-end—from intake and design through analysis and executive-ready insights—while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with business objectives. The analyst partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, requiring strong technical expertise, communication, and initiative.Top Qualifications:
β’ Advanced Excel expertise
β’ Strong experience with SAP and Salesforce
β’ Proven ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines
β’ Comfortable proactively coordinating with all levels of leadership
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Manage complex data analysis projects with limited supervision, delivering results on time and within budget
β’ Design and execute analyses to achieve business objectives
β’ Process, analyze, and interpret data; produce clear, concise findings tailored to specific audiences
β’ Develop ad hoc reports, trends, statistics, and operational profiles
β’ Manage complex data extracts and list pulls while ensuring data accuracy
β’ Transfer and distribute datasets to analysts supporting operational initiatives
β’ Create and maintain automated reporting routines and data delivery processes
β’ Apply advanced data processing, manipulation, and cleansing techniques
β’ Communicate actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders
β’ Recommend enhancements to databases, data sources, and analytical processes
Required Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
or equivalent work experience
β’ 4+ years of related experience in data analysis or operations analytics
β’ Strong proficiency in Excel, SAP, and Salesforce
β’ Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
β’ Strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred / Desired Skills:
β’ Familiarity with utility operations
β’ Advanced Excel/Access skills (complex formulas, graphing, VBA)
β’ Advanced SQL querying (Oracle, Business Objects)
β’ UNIX shell scripting (csh, awk, sed, vi)
β’ Knowledge of SAS and programming languages such as Visual Basic, Perl, or C
β’ Project management experience
