Role description
We are seeking a Senior Systems Specialist with strong experience in Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.2.10, including APEX, Java, OAF, PL/SQL, SQL, Web-ADI, and Workflow development.
Location: Downtown Houston – 100% onsite (applicants must be local to Houston)
Contract: 6 months, likely to extend to 1 year

This role provides technical and functional support for Oracle’s EAM, SCM, and Inventory (INV) modules, working closely with business users to ensure smooth operations, system enhancements, and high customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and can clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical development and administration for Oracle EAM, SCM, and INV modules.
• Assist or backfill existing EAM, INV, and SCM modules as needed.
• Design, develop, and implement new applications and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with Oracle Support to resolve service requests.
• Work directly with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Facilitate end-user testing, change management, and issue resolution.
• Configure, test, and implement Oracle E-Business Suite components.
• Maintain system and business knowledge to support users and internal technical teams.
• Complete all Change Management and SOX compliance requirements.
• Document customizations and system extensions.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of IT experience in application development and support.
• 3–5 years working with Oracle E-Business Suite, preferably EAM, Inventory, and SCM modules.
• 3–5 years of experience with Oracle development tools (APEX, Java, OAF, PL/SQL, SQL, Web-ADI, Workflow).
• Experience with Oracle 12.2.10 preferred
• Strong understanding of Oracle EAM, SCM, INV technical objects, Application Object Library, and SOA.
• Proven experience in development, implementation, production support, and upgrades.
• Ability to function in multiple roles (Business Analyst & Developer) and manage tasks from conception to production.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and handle high-pressure situations.
