Job Title: Senior Oracle Developer
Location: Cleveland, OH (Onsite)

Knowledge & Experience
β’ 8+ years of experience developing OLTP database applications in Oracle 11g and UNIX/LINUX/Solaris environment within a multi-tier environment; building and formulating business requirements.
β’ Hands of experience in JIRA, GitHub, ControlM, Micro Services / Bhoomi Services
β’ 8+ years of experience in development and performance tuning using Oracle Exadata.
β’ Work with PL/SQL Types, PL/SQL Collections, SQL Loader, PL/SQL Functions and Procedures, XML, Packages, and Materialized view, Triggers, Complex SQL's and SQL Reports.
β’ Work with PL/SQL techniques in LOBs, Multilingual character conversion; Optimize the applications using Exadata Oracle Performance Tuning Techniques; develop Unit Testing Methods for PL/SQL; develop UNIX scripts for batch processing and work with Oracle RAC clusters and Exadata systems; and Knowledge of Account Receivable system
β’ Strong experience in handling large volume data movement and maintenance.
β’ Hands of experience in JIRA, GitHub, ControlM, Micro Services / Bhoomi Services
Essential Functions Strategy & Planning
β’ Work with the business units to identify business requirements for requested projects.
β’ Identify the technical requirements of projects.
β’ Analyze all aspects of the projects.
β’ Perform feasibility and cost/benefit analyses for proposed projects.
β’ Plan and organize tasks, report on project progress, coordinate with additional development teams.
β’ Development & Deployment
β’ Perform complex programming assignments requiring an advanced aptitude of established programming standards, methods, and best practices.
β’ Design application and database components for development projects.
β’ Perform analysis of business models, logical specifications, and/or customer requirements to design and build Internet solutions utilizing multiple technologies.
β’ Mitigate significant risks associated with projects, which have a high technical complexity and/or involve significant challenges to the business.
β’ Operational Management
β’ Maintain and modify Accounts Receivable, Credit Collection, and Email Management applications, make approved changes by amending application documentation, developing detailed programming logic, and coding changes.
β’ Provide support for these critical application problems and issues.
β’ Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the discovery and investigation of critical production problems as required.
β’ Willingness and ability to coordinate/supervise efforts of other developers.
β’ Incidental Functions
β’ Conduct research into new technologies, including tools, components, and frameworks.
β’ Train and knowledge share with development teams.
β’ Mentor and coach developers and/or Professional Apprentices.
β’ Project and task management and reporting as necessary.
β’ Make presentations to management, clients, and peer groups as requested.
β’ Schedule and lead project and communication meetings.
β’ Provide tier 2, on-call support for critical application problems and issues.
β’ Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of manager.
β’ Assist with projects as may be required to contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of the work.
β’ Attend management meetings on behalf of team.
β’ Participate in hiring activities and fulfilling affirmative action obligations and ensuring compliance with the equal employment opportunity policy.
β’ Application server maintenance tasks such as: software/hardware upgrades, patching, security configuration, batch process maintenance and migration to new platforms.
β’ Address internal audit concerns to address Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
β’ Working outside the standard office 7.5 hours workday may be required; on-call availability
