Senior Planning & Insights Analyst (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract) 📍 Livingston or Dunfermline, UK (Hybrid) About the role This role focuses on delivering scenario planning, performance insights, and impact assessments to support both operational and strategic decision-making. You will play a key role in driving simplification, automation, and continuous improvement across planning and reporting processes. Key responsibilities • Lead scenario planning initiatives in collaboration with planning teams and stakeholders to support strategic decision-making • Deliver accurate, omni-channel insights to enable data-driven decisions across the business • Produce detailed analytical outputs, including ad-hoc analysis and supply vs. demand planning • Build strong relationships between planning and operational teams to ensure alignment and clear communication • Collaborate cross-functionally to share best practices and drive continuous improvement • Analyse data to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities across customer and operational journeys • Translate complex data into clear, compelling insights that influence business decisions • Support the automation and simplification of reporting processes Your profile • Proven experience in building planning models and forecasts • Strong understanding of planning methodologies and key business drivers • Highly analytical with a structured, data-driven approach to problem-solving • Proactive and self-motivated, with strong ownership of deliverables • Creative and solutions-oriented, with a focus on process improvement • Able to perform effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments • Experience with planning tools and systems, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills Team & environment You will be part of a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where both frontline and support teams work together to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
