Senior Power BI Developer (contract)

Title: Senior PowerBI Developer Location: 1525 W W T Harris Blvd Charlotte, NC Alternate Locations: 2200 Concord Pike Wilmington, DE, 2800 S Price Rd Phoenix, AZ, or 3201 N 4th Ave Sioux falls, SD Duration: 6 months Work Engagement: W2 Work Schedule: 3 days in office/2 days remote Benefits on offer for this contract position: Health Insurance, Life insurance, 401K and Voluntary Benefits Summary: In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Quantitative Analytics and contribute to large-scale planning related to Quantitative Analytics deliverables Review and analyze moderately complex Quantitative Analytics challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Quantitative Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Collaborate with Client personnel in Quantitative Analytics. Responsibilities: • Supporting the Unsecured Lending Operations team • This team utilizes SAS and SQL, and PowerBI for control reporting, performance-based reporting, and business intelligence reporting • Design, build, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to support control reporting, performance tracking, and business intelligence needs. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and implement new functionality that improves usability and insights for report users. • Ensure reports and dashboards are optimized for performance, scalability, and maintainability. • Conduct thorough testing and validation of reports to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business requirements. • Create clear documentation for developed reports and provide guidance or training to end users as needed. • Partner with cross-functional teams to align reporting solutions with broader business goals and operational strategies. Qualifications: • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. • Proven expertise in developing and enhancing reports and dashboards using the cloud-based version of Power BI. • Demonstrated ability to unlock and implement new functionality within Power BI to improve user experience and reporting capabilities. • Strong background in business analysis, including requirements gathering, solution identification, collaboration with development teams, testing, and writing user stories. • Familiarity with SAS for data manipulation and analysis. • Experience with SQL for querying and managing relational databases. • Exposure to Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
