Job Title: Senior Power BI Developer Location: Remote/WFH( onsite presence for first week and occasional onsite team meetings. Dallas, NY, NJ or Charlotte ) Duration: 10 month+ Contract Notes Details of the request include: Candidates must be located in Dallas, NY, NJ or Charlotte will have to work first week in office then role will be remote. Must-have skill requirements of the role - Advanced stack, designing dashboards, strong communication skills, advanced BI developer, 2 week sprints so experience with Agile. Contract description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, visualization, and reporting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality Power BI solutions. You will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. β€’ Lead Development: Design, develop, and implement complex Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements and provide actionable insights. β€’ Data Modeling: Create and optimize data models, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability. β€’ ETL Processes: Oversee the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from various sources into Power BI, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. β€’ Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. β€’ Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance tuning strategies for Power BI reports and dashboards to enhance user experience. β€’ Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for data sources, data models, and reporting processes to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance. β€’ Qualifications β€’ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. β€’ Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of complex dashboards and reports. β€’ Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and Power Query. Strong experience with SQL and database management. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL tools. Knowledge of data visualization best practices and techniques. β€’ Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights. β€’ Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively. β€’ Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate) are highly desirable. β€’ This is primarily a remote role but will require onsite presence for first week and occasional onsite team meetings.
