Job Title:-Senior Power BI Developer Location: Charlotte, NC (3-4x in office) – must be local already, no relo candidates, must be ready to go onsite from Day 1 Duration:-Long term Contract Client:-Kroger Visa:-USC OR GC Only Job Description:- • Project: Kroger started an initiative to produce a holistic view of the sell through of goods on various holidays such as Mothers day, Valentines Day etc., As part of this project a new system is developed called IRIS, that gathers inventory, shipped data, sales transaction data and dimensions data from the Azure Data lake by querying the Unity catalog tables in Databricks. The data ingested would be stored in an Azure Data lake storage account after applying basic data quality checks. The transformations are applied to get the actual sales of goods over estimated sales of goods for each of the events throughout the year. The final results are consumed by Power BI reports for visibility and action by senior business leaders • • Must Haves: • PowerBI Expertise • Power Platform: • Create data • Create data sources • Apply data sources • Role Level Securities • Visualizations • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • DAX • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Databricks experience, preferred. Kroger Tech Environment: • Strong reporting skills: PowerBi/Fabric • MS Azure, ETL Pipeline Development, ADF, etc. Technology agnostic. • Databricks, absolute must have • Exposure to APIs - REST, PySpark • Cloud Data Engineering (Azure) • Scripting: Shell, Python,R • Strong SQL Skills Additional Tech: • Azure DB: Data lake, Cosmos, Synapse, Azure SQL • Machine Learning frameworks. • ETL Pipeline Development • Data engineering tools in GCP. • Javascript • Java, Android Regards!
