Senior Power BI Developer

Senior Power BI Developer Long term Contract New York City, NY (Hybrid 3 days onsite) Note: Looking for BFSI experience Requirement: Seeking a Senior Power BI Developer with a robust background in SQL and data warehousing for enterprise-level systems. The ideal candidate must possess strong Power BI skills, particularly in developing dashboards and canned reports. The role involves designing and developing reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc queries. The candidate should be comfortable collaborating with business users and exhibit business analyst expertise. Qualifications • Minimum of 10+ years of combined experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, analytics, and reporting systems. • At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in relational and multi-dimensional (OLAP) data modeling. • Proficiency in data modeling using Power Query and Power Pivot. • Strong expertise in DAX and Power BI Report Builder and/or Paginated Reports. • Excellent SQL skills, particularly with SQL Server or similar relational databases, including query optimization and understanding of relational and dimensional database structures. • Experience working with DataBricks. • Experience working in financial domain, specifically in Fixed Income, Equity, and Derivative businesses. • Ability to analyze user requirements, provide recommendations, and implement effective solutions. • Self-driven with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to deliver quick resolutions. • Experience managing full project life cycles from inception to deployment. • Proven capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in high-pressure environments.
