Senior Power BI Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer for a Contract position with a client located in New York, NY (Hybrid- 2 days per week). Rate Range: $60-$65/hr on W2 without benefits, The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors Title: Senior Power BI Developer Job Types: Contract Location: New York, NY (Hybrid- 2 days per week Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled professional with advanced expertise in Power BI reporting and dashboard development, supported by strong data engineering capabilities. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop complex Power BI reports and dashboards for enterprise-level reporting. • Build and maintain data pipelines to support reporting needs. • Develop custom APIs to ingest data from multiple systems, including Jira, SharePoint, Clarity (time tracking), financial systems, Active Directory, and Workday. • Consolidate data sources into a centralized data lake for streamlined reporting. • Support quarterly, monthly, and weekly reporting cycles. Required Skills & Qualifications • Advanced Power BI experience (complex dashboards, enterprise-level reporting). • Strong data engineering skills, including ETL processes and pipeline development. • Proficiency in API development and integration. • Experience with data modeling and centralized data lake architecture. • Minimum 5+ years of experience in BI development and data engineering. Preferred Skills • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). • Experience with Python or other scripting languages for data manipulation. • Knowledge of Jira, SharePoint, Clarity, Workday, and financial systems integration.
