Position Title: Senior Power BI Developer/Data Analyst Location: Downtown Brooklyn, NY Clearance Requirements: Not Applicable, No Pay Rate: $65/hr on W2 Position Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer/Data Analyst to join a dynamic team focused on designing and deploying enterprise-grade business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will excel in developing comprehensive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to facilitate insightful decision-making across multiple business units. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, implement data security measures, and support the full lifecycle of BI projects including data extraction, transformation, and visualization. This role offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in data warehousing, geospatial reporting, and advanced analytics within a collaborative environment. Top Requirements • 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Data Applications • Expertise in Power BI, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), and DAX • Proficiency with SQL, PL/SQL, and ETL tools (SSIS) for complex data transformation • Strong background in data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema) and visualization techniques • Experience with SQL Server, Power Query, Power Pivot, and T-SQL • Knowledge of Agile Scrum and Waterfall development methodologies • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with ability to manage multiple tasks • Familiarity with Azure, PBRS, and Microsoft ecosystem (Office365, SharePoint) • Experience with geospatial data reporting and mapping integration in Power BI • Familiarity with advanced data modeling including predictive analytics and forecasting • Experience supporting report deployment, user access, and maintenance in production environments About Seneca Resources At Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firm, we are a trusted career partner.
